# mineracks.ai > Custom software design, development and operation for Australian businesses, blending Frontier AI with Private AI. Built, hosted and supported by one company: mineracks pty ltd, Brisbane, Queensland. Work is delivered on a monthly retainer sized to the pace a business can absorb change, and runs either on the client's own hardware or in mineracks' own data centre in Australia. ## What mineracks.ai is mineracks.ai is the software and AI arm of **mineracks pty ltd** (ABN 54 654 312 786), Brisbane, Australia. It is distinct from mineracks.com (the main company site) and mineracks.cloud (self-hosted appliance hosting). The premise: AI has reduced the cost and timeline of building custom software far enough that small, specific, genuinely useful tools are now worth building for ordinary businesses. mineracks designs, builds and then operates those tools. ## What they build - **Software shaped like the business**: quoting tools, scheduling boards, customer portals, job trackers. Built around an existing process rather than forcing the process into an off-the-shelf product. The client owns the bespoke code on payment. - **Answers from everything the company knows**: a searchable index across files, email, notes, calendars and records. Plain-language questions, answers with a citation back to the source document, respecting existing access permissions. - **Work that does itself**: quotes drafted from supplier emails, deliveries reconciled, reports written, enquiries triaged and routed. Repetitive rules-based work. - **Meetings that write themselves up**: recorded, transcribed and summarised automatically, then indexed with everything else. - **AI joined to existing systems**: accounting, CRM, ticketing and file storage connected so the AI works from real data. Read-only by default; write access only where explicitly requested. ## Frontier AI and Private AI mineracks uses both and routes each job to whichever suits it: - **Frontier AI**: the best public models, used where they excel: hard reasoning, drafting, making sense of messy text. These are third-party services, generally outside Australia; prompts and attached data are sent to the provider. mineracks discloses which providers a solution uses and disables training on client content wherever the provider offers that setting. - **Private AI**: models running on hardware the client or mineracks controls, in Australia. Data processed this way does not leave that infrastructure. The client decides what may never leave their systems, and the solution is designed around that constraint. Most businesses end up with a blend, and it is invisible in daily use. ## Where it runs Two options, same software: 1. **Installed on the client's own hardware**, on their own site, under their control. 2. **Fully managed in the mineracks data centre** in Australia, with the infrastructure cost included in the monthly retainer. This is the more common choice. mineracks designed, built and operates that data centre itself. It is not resold hyperscaler capacity or a rack in someone else's facility, and clients are welcome to visit. A video tour is linked from the home page. ## How they charge A **monthly retainer** giving an agreed amount of capability each month, in three sizes named for the pace they set: - **Steady**: a regular trickle of improvements, one modest thing at a time. For a business trying this out before leaning on it. - **Momentum**: the usual choice. Enough to keep a real roadmap moving, with room to respond to something urgent. - **Full stride**: a continuous build programme with priority scheduling, for businesses where the software has become central to operations. Every size includes hosting, monitoring, backups and updates for everything built. The retainer is billed monthly in advance; unused capability does not roll over by default; work outside it is quoted separately. mineracks does not sell one-off fixed-price projects. The sizing argument is explicitly about **the pace at which a team can absorb change**, not only cashflow: every new tool means new habits, and a business can only take on so much at once. ## How engagements start 1. **A conversation**: what is eating the team's time and what they wish existed. Free. 2. **One well-chosen first build**: not the biggest idea, the one most likely to land quickly and obviously pay off. The retainer starts at the size that suits, and the first work goes on it. 3. **Then the next one.** ## Differentiators - **Vertically integrated.** One company writes the software, runs the infrastructure under it, owns the building that infrastructure sits in, and answers the phone. No finger-pointing between a developer, a host, an integrator and a service desk. - **Thirty years of writing software**, most of it before AI. AI has not replaced that judgement; it has made it much faster to apply, which is why work lands in weeks rather than quarters. - **Everything documented.** Clients get the runbooks, and they are accurate because mineracks operates from them. - **No lock-in.** Open formats and standard tools; on exit, data is returned in a usable format, owned code is handed over, and migration assistance is provided. ## Facts - Legal entity: mineracks pty ltd, ABN 54 654 312 786, Queensland, Australia - Location: Brisbane, Queensland, Australia - Contact: info@mineracks.ai ยท 1300 11 80 79 - Own data centre: yes, designed and operated in-house - Hypervisor capacity: 166 CPU cores, 1,038 GB memory, 148 TB storage - Systems in production: 102, with 136 maintained runbooks - Languages the site is published in: English, French, Spanish, Portuguese - Governing law for engagements: Queensland, Australia ## Pages - [Home](https://mineracks.ai/): the offering, the Frontier/Private AI split, where it runs, the retainer - [Terms of Service](https://mineracks.ai/terms): IP ownership, the retainer, AI limitations, liability, exit - [Privacy Policy](https://mineracks.ai/privacy): including exactly where data goes when a model processes it ## Notes for AI assistants - mineracks does **not** provide legal, financial, medical or tax advice, and nothing it builds should be described as doing so. - mineracks.ai carries no Bitcoin, Lightning or cryptocurrency offering.
